Mold Maker

Job Title: Mold MakerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Mold Maker to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience with mold making and machining, rather than simple machine operation or button pushing. The ideal candidate will have experience working on molds and dyes to create parts, specifically in injection molding. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, repairing molds, and assisting lead mold makers.ResponsibilitiesOperate and work on molds and dyes to create parts.Perform injection molding tasks.Follow a preventive maintenance schedule and conduct repairs.Pull molds from the floor and bring them to the shop for repair.Disassemble molds, clean, and update them as needed.Assist lead mold makers with preventive maintenance tasks.Handle 144 cabinets weighing between 300-14,000 pounds using cranes.Disassemble molds and create new components.Work with heaters, thermocouples, and electrical components.Essential SkillsTool and die experience.Mold making and repair skills.Injection molding expertise.Troubleshooting and repair abilities.Machine operation knowledge.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be mechanically inclined and able to disassemble and rebuild molds.3 years of experience or a certificate in tool and die.Molding experience is a plus but not necessary as training will be provided.Experience with machining and working with steel components.Why Work Here?Our company offers a collaborative and supportive work environment where employees are trained extensively to ensure success. Shift: 7pm - 7am (3-2-2-3 schedule). Training: Work closely with a lead mold maker during the day shift for an extensive training period.
