Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Gastroenterology in Pennsylvania

Excellent PA Gastroenterology opportunity for Scheduling Need coverage from 11/18/24 - 12/31/25. One provider requested, will accept multiple. Inpatient & Outpatient Scheduled Clinical Hours Beeper Call Schedule: M-F, GI Lab hours 8a-4p Call: typically 5p-5p Dates Needed: 2024: 11/18/24 - 11/25/24 (orientation on 11/18/24) 12/16/24 - 12/23/24, 12/30/24 - 12/31/24 2025 1/7/25 - 1/20/25 2/2/25 - 2/9/25, 2/17/25 - 2/23/25 3/18/25 - 3/23/25 3/30/25 - 4/6/25 4/28/25 - 5/4/25 5/26/25 - 6/1/25 6/16/25 - 6/23/25 6/30/25 - 7/13/25 7/22/25 - 7/27/25 8/3/25 - 8/11/25 8/18/25 - 8/24/25 8/31/25 - 9/7/25 9/15/25 - 9/21/25 9/28/25 - 10/5/25 10/12/25 - 10/19/25 10/27/25 - 11/2/25 11/9/25 - 11/16/25, 11/24/25 - 11/30/25 12/7/25 - 12/14/25, 12/22/25 - 12/31/25 Hospital rounds/consults to be completed daily on assigned wks. Average 5-10 inpatient consults per day while on-call. Hospital rounds/consults on Saturday and Sunday on assigned weekends (4 hours per day of onsite work) Patients Per Day: Approx. 10-14 IPs per day – PA to assist M-F Rounds, emergencies, outpatient procedures (if needed) and floor consults (6-10 per day) - staff will add patients to inpatient rounding list to see the following morning. May get called in to hospital 1-3 times per week. Procedures required/procedures per day: EGDs, Colonoscopies, EGD with Dilatations, Peg placement and change. All the standard GI procedures. Call Response: 30 min. Call Ratio: 1:7 Both Rounding Trauma Level 1 Facility No teaching or supervision required.
