Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,508 per week

Certification Details ACLS BCLS Job Requirements 2 yrs of Experience Needed Accepts 1st time travelers. Experience with arterial lines and titrating vasoactive drips, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, IV insulin protocols, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols, CVA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation Precautions required. Experience with IV start, telemetry, and conscious sedation required. Must pass EKG Testing prior to start. Schedule Information 12 HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15 36 or 48 Hours can be offered, with no OT billed until after 48 Hours 7 days MAX for RTO. Floating as needed to sister unit which is an ICCU. Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND Unit Specific Information PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown unit Nurses must recognize and treat dysrhythmias Only one pressor drip per patient Unit uses Bedside telemetry monitors with remote backup Additional Details Target Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1 ADC:18 with 20 Beds ICU stepdown, Post rapid response team patients, respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics, withdrawal, GI bleeds, post-op No vents on unit Pyxis and Epic Systems used
