Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Kansas

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: OB/GYN Job Duration: 13 months Shift: 24-Hour shifts (7am to 7am) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 5 C-sections and 5 hysterectomies in the past 24 months; 50 deliveries in the past 24 months License: Active Kansas medical license preferred Certifications: BLS, Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible, DEA Must-Have: - Procedure log demonstrating necessary experience for privileging - Agreement to provider expectations and adherence to legal requirements in Kansas - Completed EMR training prior to the start date - Clean malpractice and background preferred Job Description: - Providing OB/GYN coverage with a focus on obstetric and gynecological care - Working both in a clinic setting and inpatient call - Performing a range of OB/GYN procedures, including non-emergent surgeries - Covering all obstetrics as well as emergency gynecology and obstetric cases - Collaboration with support staff including Lab Techs, LPN/LVNs, MAs, X-ray Techs, RNs, CRNAs, and midwives - Using EPIC EMR system, with necessary training to be completed in advance - Providing care for adult and adolescent patient populations - Opportunity to work in facilities with skilled general surgeons, urologists, critical care physicians, and cardiologists for support - Working shifts that require flexibility to cover any of the specified date periods Please ensure that all applied candidates have the necessary credentials and readiness as per the state requirements and job needs.
