Job Title: Locum Tenens Physician Job Specialty: Radiation Oncology Job Duration: 38 weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 09:00AM - 05:00PM - 40 Hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum Fellowship of 2 years License: Board Certification Required Certifications: - BLS Must-Have: - Board Certification Eligible - Radiation Oncology Skills including Brachytherapy, Intracavitary, LDR - High Dose Rate, External Beam Therapy (EBRT), Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons - Techniques such as Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery Job Description: - Provide medical care in a clinical setting with a schedule of 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday - Possibility of night/weekend call assignments if required - Manage patient encounters with an average of 15 patients per shift - Work within a team of professionals, ensuring quality healthcare delivery - Participate in treatment planning and execution including Conventional Treatment Planning, Beam Shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, and PET CT or MRI Image Fusion - Utilize Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI) in practice - Engage in clinical trials as part of the treatment regime - Operate in a facility classified as Trauma Level 3 Candidates should be highly skilled in Radiation Oncology with proficiency in various advanced techniques.
