Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist 100% Remote Job Summary: Reporting to the Family Office Partner and Director of Empower CFO and interacting with the clients, we are looking for a Sage Intacct implementation specialist with a strong accounting background to lead the implementation/onboarding and data transfer of our existing and new Family Office and Empower CFO Clients onto Sage Intacct. Additionally, this role will provide ongoing support to Sage Intacct client users. This role will have direct contact with the client, which will require strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present with confidence to a group. This role will have a direct report that is part of offshore team. Key Responsibilities: Existing clients are currently using QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online and we need to implement them onto Sage Intacct and then convert their data over from QuickBooks to Sage Intacct. New clients - each new client needs to be configured/implemented in Sage Intacct and convert existing data over from QuickBooks to Sage Intacct. Direct Report - this role will have a direct report that is part of our Offshore team. The direct report will perform the labor-intensive tasks at the direction of this role. Troubleshooting & Support: - Every client that has been implemented onto Sage Intacct requires ongoing support to the users of Sage Intacct. That will predominantly be the client's users of the software. This can involve building custom reports, making adjustments to configurations etc. Troubleshooting and resolving challenges as they arise. Third party app integrations - integrate Sage Intacct with Third party apps like Bill.com and Expensify. Integration & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate workflows and optimize accounting processes within Sage Intacct, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency. Reporting: Build standardized reporting for Family Office Clients. Have the ability to create custom reports. Financial Data Integration: Oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to Sage Intacct, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards. Intercompany Accounting: Set up and manage intercompany relationships, ensuring proper accounting for transactions between companies, including eliminations and reconciliations. Knowledge and Skill Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Sage Intacct certified Accounting Specialist and Implementation Specialist Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent accounting certification preferred. Good attitude and willingness to learn 3 years of experience with Sage Intacct, including multi-entity consolidations and integrations. Positive attitude and desire to serve clients in a top-tier fashion Ability to demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities Strong accounting experience, including financial reporting, intercompany transactions, and subsidiary management. Experience with data migration and financial system integration Familiarity with APIs, web services, and financial system integration tools. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on financial accuracy and process improvement. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with client system users directly Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects and deliver results within deadlines. Experience in accounting and financial system onboarding for multi-entity, international organizations. Experience with intercompany eliminations and consolidation reporting.
