Insight Global is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Controls Schedular to support one of our large energy companies. This role involves monitoring and managing project performance and progress, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The main priority of this role is to create and manage detailed project timelines, coordinate resources, and ensure seamless project execution. This role will manage 50-80 projects at once, all in different stages The ideal candidate for this role will have a combination of technical expertise, strong communication and leadership skills, and relevant experience in project management and controls. Core Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6, including critical path activities and task dependencies. Take on the entire organizations 50 plus projects at a time. Monitor and update project schedules regularly to reflect project progress and any changes. Analyze schedule performance and identify potential delays, recommending corrective actions as necessary. Facilitate risk management activities, identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance metrics. Establish and maintain project documentation and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, subcontractors, and other external parties to secure necessary resources and services for project execution. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years of scheduling support experience. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project management software (e.g., MS Project). Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Construction background Strong drive and go-getter attitude. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. Experience in the energy sector or utility industry. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
