Summary of Responsibilities: The incumbent manages key day-to-day laboratory operations, including analyzing quality control samples (e.g., raw materials, in-process, finished products, stability, and validation). They ensure compliance with approved test methods and proper documentation of analyses. The role involves supporting QA/QC goals through problem-solving during testing issues and developing standard operating procedures. Key Duties: Analyze and document results for various sample types in pharmaceutical QC. Follow approved test methods, SOPs, and maintain accurate data records. Plan and respond to the lab's analytical needs to meet production deadlines. Manage hazardous waste disposal and maintain chemical cleanliness. Assist with weekly inventory of supplies and reagents. Qualifications: BA/BS in biology, chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, or a related field. 3 years of lab experience, preferably in pharmaceutical chemistry. Proficiency in FDA regulations, GMP/GLP standards, and lab safety practices. Basic computer skills and ability to pass a DEA background check.
