Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced department with a Radiologist available for questions Ability to give excellent patient care keeping a safe environment for patients and staff Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Ability to adapt protocols for patients or physician needs Willing to learn from onsite and virtual applications for new procedures List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Neuro exams including CT and CTA’s of the head, neck, and spine (perfusion) Abdominal exams including CT’s and CTA’s of the aorta, abdomen/ pelvis, and runoffs MSK exams include extremities and arthrograms Best personality Fit: Friendly personality that has excellent communication skills on the phone and in person Team player who strives to keep a relaxed and fun work environment working with a great team Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. We have many policies for safety and exams. We are an intricate part of the trauma and stroke service lines. Being a level 2 trauma center, we will scan every trauma that comes through our doors. We work as a team shoulder to shoulder with the trauma surgeons. As a comprehensive stroke center all stroke alerts go directly to CT within minutes the team can decide whether the patient can receive treatment. We do many procedural exams including biopsies, drains, and oncology intervention. We have a brand new 256 slice scanner that has the ability to scan entire organs in one rotation.
