Certification Details ACLS BLS Job Details Travel rate is available for local travelers if their start date is on or before 12/13. RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Ratios: 1:6-7 Shift: NIGHT 3x12-Hour 36. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc). Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR Unit Orientation: 24 hours Scrubs: Navy Job Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Traveler Experience: NOT REQUIRED Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience Schedule Information FLOAT Requirement: YES REQUIRED Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend) SCHEDULING TYPE: Self Unit Specific Information Unit monitors cardiac patients. Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop Additional Details Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath
