Specialty Radiation Oncology State MA Location 271 Carew St., Springfield, MA Requirements Mercy Medical Center is seeking Locum Radiation Oncologist to help with ongoing coverage starting October 2024 through summer 2025 Practice Setting: inpatient and outpatient Reason for Coverage: gaps while we recruit Dates of Coverage: October 2024 through summer 2025 Call Ratio: every other week Number of Physicians in Practice: 2 Will There be Other Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? yes How Many APPs Provide Coverage? 1 Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT Clinic/Office : 25 Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT Call/Rounding : variable 1 per week Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult Office/Clinic Hospital Based Documentation System/EMR: meditech/ mosaiq Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days approx. Provider Must be local - only mileage is reimbursed Required Procedures: Conventional Radiotherapy 3D Radiotherapy 3D conformal IMRT SBRT and SRS No brachy needed External Beam Radiation - 3D-CRT External Beam Radiation - IGRT External Beam Radiation - IMRT Stereotactic Radiosurgery Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy SBRT Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy Required Duties: Orders Tests Orders Images PrescribesTrinity Health does not reimburse for credentialing costs or application fees.
