Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (for specific units like ER, ICU) State License 1 Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) NIH Stroke Certification (for specific units like ER, ICU) Job Details DCH is unable to accommodate RTO requests for the following holiday dates: 11/28, 11/29, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1 Margin/OT Billing Rules - Candidates contracted for 48 hours - OT is billed after 48hrs ITC & perm staff must have been termed for at least 6 months Specialty: MS/Tele Years required: 2 years recent MS/Tele experience (previous charge experience preferred) First Time Travelers: Accepted RTO: Must be approved by manager Ratios: 1:5-7 Floating: Yes, within scope Weekend Requirement: Every other Work setting experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry Must pass cardiac exam during orientation EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short-Term Acute Care Level III Trauma Center Charting: Meditech Expanse Total Staffed Beds: 606 Job Requirements Chemo Admin and Monitoring Chemo skillsets strongly preferred Certifications: BLS required. OCN and Chemo cert are preferred. Schedule Information Contract Length: 13.0 weeks Unit Specific Information Specialty: MS/Tele Unit Years required: 2 years recent MS/Tele experience (previous charge experience preferred) First Time Travelers: Accepted RTO must be approved by the manager Ratios: 1:5-7 Floating policy: Yes, within scope Weekend Requirement: Every other Additional Details Government issued photo ID required prior to start. Required prior to start: Emergency Contact Form, E-Verify, Photo (for Badge). Computer Based Trainings (CBTs) are required and must be completed by the Friday 3 pm CST prior to start. Orientation Exams: EKG/Medication tests with remediation policy for failed attempts.
