Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,315 per week

Certification Details BCLS NIH Stroke Certification (required due to facility's specialization), ACLS (preferred) Job Details Registered Nurse position available in Lafayette, Indiana. First Time Travelers Accepted. Minimum Experience Required: 18 months. Will work with RN to balance preference and unit needs. Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from the restriction on Indiana RNs working past a certain deadline. Responsibilities include caring for Med/Surg patients, pre/post neurosurgery, total joint replacements, managing various trauma levels, and more. Varied medical patient care such as COPD, Pneumonia, UTI, etc. Job Requirements Shift Requirements: 3x12 Nights, every other weekend. Skillset Requirements: Med/Surg, pre/post neuro surgery, total joint replacements, Trauma Level I, II, III, or IV, IV Start required. Ortho trauma and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias preferred. Floating Requirements: Yes. Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6 Schedule Information 3x12 Nights. Every other weekend. Will work with RN to balance preference and unit needs. Unit Specific Information Unit Information: Orthopedic, GYN, Urology, Neurosurgery, Medical patients. Experience with continuous bladder irrigation, hysterectomy, chest tubes, and handling all bone fractures. Additional Details Valid Driver’s License or Passport required.
