Overview The Senior Director, IT Infrastructure and Operations is responsible for leading and managing Insmed's global IT infrastructure and operations. Reporting directly to the CIO, this role will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's information systems, networks, IT infrastructure and cloud applications to support business objectives and ensure operational excellence. This role will also be part of the IT Leadership Team and plays a crucial part in shaping Insmed's technological future while ensuring robust and secure IT operations. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership in the management, development, and networking of Insmed's information systems network, infrastructure, servers, server-based applications, cloud-based applications, SaaS, database maintenance, storage backups and recovery, and phone systems. Lead and develop the IT operations, cloud, networking and support services teams, providing mentorship, guidance and professional development opportunities. Lead Information Management initiatives for design, documentation, implementation, integration, and configuration of new or revised hardware, software, policies, and procedures to enhance and support defined business requirements. Develop and manage the I&O budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Collaborate closely with the head of IT Cybersecurity and their team to understand and implement cyber related improvements via application tools and hardware. Collaborate and partner with other IT leaders across towers and business stakeholders to align infrastructure and operations initiatives with overall business strategy. Manage IT software and support purchases, agreements, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with company goals. Implement enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity solutions to minimize operational risks in collaboration with head of IT Data Governance. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including data privacy and security requirements. Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance of IT systems. Develop and manage the infrastructure and operations budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, networking, cybersecurity, and IT service management Experience with enterprise-level IT systems and applications Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills ITIL, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are a plus This role reports directly to the Chief Information Officer and plays a crucial part in shaping Insmed's technological future while ensuring robust and secure IT operations.LI-JT1 Travel Requirements Up to 20% travel LI-JT1 Salary Range $207,000 - $289,867 a year Compensation & Benefits We're committed to investing in every team member's total well-being, now and in the future.
