Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pediatrics in Peoria, IL

A facility is seeking a pediatric pulmonologist for locum tenens coverage. In Peoria, Illinois, you can experience the city's vibrant arts scene by visiting the Peoria Riverfront Museum, which showcases a blend of art, history, and science exhibitions. To embrace the outdoors, take a stroll or bike ride along the Peoria Riverfront Trail, offering scenic views of the Illinois River and picturesque parks. This position includes both clinic and hospital settings. In the clinic, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with 30-minute patient blocks for new and follow-up visits. Hospital responsibilities occur on Saturdays and Sundays, with the provider on call from Monday at 8 AM through the following Monday at 8 AM. Duties include rounding and 1-2 consults per day. Required cases are bread-and-butter, and familiarity with sleep medicine is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates must be Board Certified and licensed in Illinois to apply.
