Title: MCD - MuleSoft Architect/Developer / TS4 (730415) Location: Columbus, OH(Hybrid - onsite Tuesday and Thursday) Duration: long term Contract Technical Specialist (TS4) plays the role of MuleSoft Architect/Developer in designing, implementing, testing, debugging &, deployment of MuleSoft APIs and integrations. The resource will formally create all technical project documentation including technical architecture diagrams, data process flows architecture, and design specifications. Integrate MuleSoft and Salesforce and other various clients with the backend data sources, as well as third party data sources. This position functions as a member of the Medicaid ITS Team, reports to the ITS Manager, and works with ITS Development teams. Responsibilities Works with business teams to understand their processes and translate their needs into actionable requirements for configuration/development. Creates & configures APIs in production and non-production environments. Deploys new API integrations into production and non-production environments. Monitors resource usage and proactively fixes any potential issues. Monitors application deployed in production environments and proactively resolves system and data issues. Creates a roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders. Documents MuleSoft and Salesforce best practices related to release management and deploying changes through the various sandboxes to production. Mentors and trains State Development resources. Actively participate in the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft applications Design and deliver comprehensive MuleSoft API-led data integration projects. Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve integrations in Salesforce. Perform as a lead and senior developer using Anypoint platform including set-up, using chosen identity management, client management. Perform web services API integrations tasks with other internal and 3rd Party systems (REST & SOAP) Assist with sprint/working sessions, release planning, training, maintaining a roadmap, and future direction for applications within the organization. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Assess and deploy APIs in chosen MuleSoft platform (GovCloud, cloudhub, RuntimeFabric (RTF), Perform technical tasks using Java, Dataweave, RAML specifications/build, Dev Ops, CI/CD build pipelines using appropriate IDEs and version control tools. Applies API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to help organizations achieve their goals Experience orchestrating complex use cases involving multiple systems, incorporating error handling and logging. Development using Core JMS, web API, SOAP, REST, ODATA, XML, FTP, JSON and authentication methods. Perform testing using MuleSoft MUnit and building automated test scenarios. Works with leadership and stakeholders, reviews & recommends software tools, and approaches to improve operational efficiencies and enhance the customer experience. Log, troubleshoot and resolve system problems. Recommend & Review best practices and tools for Release Management/DevOps[NS1] Monitor & Provide Production support for all the MuleSoft Integrations Troubleshoot and resolve functional and performance related issues. Stay up to date with the latest MuleSoft and Salesforce technologies and best practices. Develop and maintain technical documentation including flow diagrams, process diagram, and current and proposed state diagrams[NS2] Creates project documentation, including user interface guides, training documentation or other functional specific documents and change orders. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Technical Specialist 4 must have solid MuleSoft skills, experience in building API's and integrating with third party systems. Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or related field More than 10 years of experience in Information systems including Analysis, Design & Development Must have 5 years of experience in Mule Integrations, Mule API management, MuleSoft Product suite, and features. Must have 5 years of experience in MuleSoft (GovCloud, cloudhub, RuntimeFabric (RTF), Must have 5 years of experience in Java, Dataweave, RAML specifications/build, Dev Ops, CI/CD build pipelines using appropriate IDEs and version control tools. Must have 5 years of experience with SOA, RESTful architecture, web service development. Must have 5 years of experience with Anypoint platform set-up including identity management, client management, VPC (including sizing), firewalls, network, and cloud concepts. Must have 5 years of experience in Core JMS, web API, SOAP, REST, ODATA, XML, FTP, JSON and authentication methods. Must have 5 years of experience in MuleSoft MUnit and building automated test scenarios. Required 5 years of experience with handling web services API integrations with other internal and 3rd Party systems (REST & SOAP) Required 2 years of Professional Experience in Integrating Salesforce & MuleSoft • Required 5 years of experience with SCRUM/Agile Development practices. • Required ability to propose, document, and implement software project lifecycle solutions (software and documentation). • Knowledge of Medicaid is desired, but not required. MuleSoft certification(s), Salesforce.com Administrator certification, preferred. Required Education: BS/BA degree or combination of education & experience.
