Cloud ETL Developer Only W2 (Citizen, GC, GC EAD ) Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Candidate Preference: Candidates located within 40-50 miles of Richmond, VA. Interview Type: Both Phone and In-Person Must-Have Skills & Experience: ETL & BI: 10 years of experience delivering business data analysis and implementing ETL processes and business intelligence solutions. Agile Business Analysis: 5 years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Scrum concepts and methodology. Backlog Management: Experience organizing and maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs. Requirement Translation: Ability to translate client and product strategy requirements into dataset requirements and user stories. SQL Expertise: Exceptional experience writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle. Azure Databricks: Experience with Azure Databricks for data processing and transformation. ESRI ArcGIS: Experience with ESRI ArcGIS for spatial data handling and analysis. Data Management: Experience with enterprise data management principles and practices. Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server). Reporting Systems: Experience with reporting systems, including operational data stores, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts. Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers. Preferred Skills: Data Integration: Advanced understanding of data integration concepts and techniques. Database Architecture: Strong knowledge of various database architectures. Technical Skills: Data Warehousing: Deep passion for data analytics technologies and experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau). Data Modeling: Vast knowledge of database design and modeling in the context of data warehousing. Data Warehousing Architectures: Familiarity with key data warehousing architectures like Kimball and Inmon. Data Stores: Experience designing solutions using various data stores (HDFS, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Cosmos DB). Azure Technologies: Expertise in Data Factory v2, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, and Azure Synapse. ETL Tools: Experience with IBM DataStage and Erwin. Database Technologies: Proficiency in SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), Oracle, T-SQL, Azure SQL Database, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse. Operating Systems: Experience with Windows and Unix operating systems. Scripting: Scripting experience with Windows PowerShell and/or Python, and Linux Shell scripting. Cloud Engineering: Experience in Azure Cloud engineering. Responsibilities: Design and develop systems to maintain the Data Asset Program, ETL processes, and business intelligence initiatives. Design and support the data warehouse database and table schemas for new and existing data sources. Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other data consumers to gather and populate data in the data hub and warehouse. Ensure smooth data integration and apply knowledge of database architectures. Create clear and visually engaging ETL and data designs, tables, documentation, and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
