E-COMMERCE DIRECTOR Reports to: CEO/Executives Location: Los Angeles Commitment: Part-time (20hrs/week) Starting date: Immediate Company Overview A Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand known for its dedication to true lasting luxury, crafted with the world's finest fabrics. Description Looking for a strategic, data-driven E-Commerce Director to work part-time in the Los Angeles office to lead the brand’s e-commerce. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce business while driving long-term financial success. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and business acumen, with a proven track record in the luxury fashion e-commerce space. Responsibilities Develop and drive the long-term e-commerce strategy aligned with the brand's vision and financial objectives Lead digital transformation initiatives, integrating new technologies to enhance the customer experience and backend operations Analyze data to inform strategic decisions, focusing on customer acquisition, conversion rates, and retention strategies Oversee the e-commerce budget, ensuring profitability through strategic pricing, promotions, and cost optimization Collaborate with marketing, design, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless and luxury-focused customer experience Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with brand objectives Oversee content strategy and creative direction for the website, maintaining brand integrity and luxury appeal Lead and execute project management for the launch of new e-commerce products and platforms, driving clarity and collaboration across all involved teams Drive the execution of online marketing channels, including SEO, online merchandising, content, site navigation, and web analytics Ensure compliance with e-commerce regulations, data privacy laws, and security standards Innovate and implement new strategies for improving online merchandising, promotional, and content management Drive global expansion efforts, including localization strategies for international markets Act as the primary point of contact for the development of all direct-to-consumer business online Qualifications Minimum 4-6 years of experience in e-commerce, with a strong background in the fashion and luxury sectors Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field preferred but not required Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects Strong understanding of Shopify, Shopify Plus, SEO, CRM, and other merchandising planning/management tools Stellar management skills and a willingness to take initiative Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making Demonstrated success in strategic planning, digital transformation, and customer experience optimization Prior experience in luxury brand positioning online is highly desirable
