Director of Consumer Lending

JCW Search is partnered with an LA based bank looking to bring on a Director of Consumer Lending. This position will focus on the banks consumer loans (Auto, personal loans, credit cards, etc.) An ideal candidate will have worked in a consumer lending leadership position and be able to review and make strategic changes to the banks lending processes. Day to day you will: Manage a team of lenders and loan operations specialists Manage the consumer team's loan review, underwriting and escalations Provide strategic oversight for the teams processes and work to create efficiency To be successful you should have: 12 years of experience in consumer lending with increasing responsibilities 5 years of experience in a team management role Experience in process improvements and creating operational excellence
