Account Executive – HVAC/Plumbing Industry Local to Austin, TX or Houston, TX Position Summary: We are seeking two experienced and driven Account Executives to join our team in Austin and Houston. These field-based sales roles are focused on developing and expanding commercial sales and services to drive revenue growth. By leveraging strong relationship-building skills, you’ll grow our customer base, retain existing clients, and achieve territory saturation. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, working with management to develop effective sales strategies. Customer Relationships: Manage and maintain strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Sales Generation: Drive commercial replacement, retrofit, and service-contract sales through cold calling, referrals, networking, and face-to-face meetings. Solution Selling: Collaborate with customers, vendors, and technicians to identify needs, recommend solutions, and deliver technical information in an easy-to-understand manner. Proposal Preparation: Utilize internal tools (e.g., Salesforce) to create proposals and track sales activities. Sales Process Ownership: Consistently follow up with leads, close deals, and meet sales targets. Professionalism: Represent the company with integrity, tact, and diplomacy. Collaboration: Partner with team members and managers to resolve conflicts and pursue shared goals. Qualifications: Experience: 5 years of sales experience (HVAC/Plumbing preferred), with a proven ability to prospect, qualify, strategize, present, and close. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite. Skills: Strong interpersonal and active listening skills, exceptional organization, and the ability to handle challenging conversations with emotional intelligence. Network: A well-established professional network within the industry is a major plus. Education: High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
