Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (as it is relevant to radiology/cardiology) State License Verification Job Details Central Maine Medical Center is looking for an experienced Radiology / Cardiology nurse with outpatient, inpatient, ER, and community hospital exposure. Applicants should also have experience with portables, bubble study, contrast agents, M-mode, and treadmill stress echo. The role is travel/contract based with a 13-week contract. The daily caseload will be 6-7 cases, with shifts scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 06:30 to 17:00. The department involves adult echo stress echo with a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases. Job Requirements At least 2 years of experience is required. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted. Skills in IV starts, PACS, 3-D Echo, Phillips, and Cerner are preferred. Traveler must have either an RDCS - Adult or RCS certification. Schedule Information Shifts are four times a week for ten hours starting at 06:30 and ending at 17:00. On call is required one night every other week and one weekend every 6 weekends. Unit Specific Information This position encompasses the use of the medication, documentation, and communication systems that pertain to Cerner. Additional Details Candidates must be proficient with the Cerner system. Scrubs can be of any color.
