Unit Specific Information Unit Information: Medical Care Unit Number of Beds – 32 beds Number of Staff – 45 Patient Ratios – 6:1 Type of equipment – Standard Nursing equipment, BiPAP (Stable), Mid/Flow, PD, Heparin Gtts, Phillips Cardiac Monitors Additional Details Visible and involved leadership on all shifts from Director, Manager, and CCs on the unit and great off-shift support from the Nursing Supervisor Great teamwork across all shifts and throughout the whole team Nurses with varying experiences from 20 years to new graduates Collaborative work environment with strong relationships with physicians Excellent PCT/CNA/Nurse Extern support on all shifts
