Explore these videos to discover the excellent opportunities that Alamon, Inc. has to offer Welcome to Alamon Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving the growth of our low-voltage cabling and IT infrastructure installation services, primarily for our large-scale construction initiative. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within these, or closely related industries, possess strong technical knowledge, have well-established industry relationships, and possess strong sales skills. RCDD Certification is required for this position. The Business Development Manager will also have a hand in performing P&L analyses on our current accounts to be able to provide guidance on the overall direction and vision of the division. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's client base in the large-scale commercial construction, low-voltage cabling, and IT infrastructure sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Work with our marketing and operations teams to develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and company growth objectives. Collaborate with internal teams, including project management, engineering, operations, marketing, and leadership to drive new revenue and ensure the successful delivery of client projects within budget. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities. Work with the marketing department and other division business development personnel to identify synergies within the company, develop marketing strategies, and deliver new sales results. Analyze current CRM tools and help develop best practices in the utilization of those tools. Help develop overall division marketing strategy including identifying business development objectives, planning to achieve those objectives, utilization of tools to achieve those objectives (cold calls, email campaigns, social media, CRM, etc.), and tracking of progress/results. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients, negotiating terms and conditions to close deals effectively. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our services and generate leads. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, and sales performance. Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, construction management, IT or a related field. A current and valid driver's license with no DUI's or DWI's within the last 5 years is required. Must be able to pass the pre-employment screening process which includes a drug test, background check and a motor vehicle records check. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction, low-voltage cabling, or IT infrastructure industries. Strong technical knowledge of enterprise-level service requirements, large-scale low-voltage cabling systems, and IT infrastructure installations. Well-established industry contacts, preferably with a current book of business. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to ride in a vehicle for extended periods of time to travel to and from job sites. Ability to work in different temperatures and through changing weather conditions. Must be able to traverse all areas of a job site. This may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching. Travel Requirements: Extensive travel will be required as necessary.
