Sales & Events Manager – Bite Catering Couture Do you want to cater some of the best events in Los Angeles? Bite Catering Couture is seeking a highly organized, results-driven Sales & Events Manager to take advantage of the opportunities coming from our growth. This is a sales and event execution role where you'll drive new business, deepen relationships with key accounts, and deliver exceptional experiences across high-profile events. What You’ll Do: Drive Sales & Build Key Accounts : Focus 75% of your time on generating and landing opportunities with top accounts—prospecting, pitching, and securing high-value accounts across venues, planners, and corporate clients. Apply the Challenger Sales methodology to showcase how our offerings can elevate their events, helping you close deals that drive significant revenue. Book and Execute Catering Events : You’ll manage everything from lead qualification to event execution—responding to inquiries, managing bookings, creating job sheets for the kitchen, and ensuring flawless delivery. You’ll aim to book 300 events/year, with an annual target of $850K in sales. Client Relationship Management : Cultivate long-term relationships with key partners and clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals. You’ll bring on new clients while maintaining high levels of service and satisfaction. Optimize the Client Journey (25%) : Continuously evaluate and enhance the customer experience, from initial contact to post-event follow-up. Ensure every client feels the value of working with a thoughtful, caring, impact-focused caterer in a way that fulfulls the brand promise. Lead Improvement Projects : Work on underlying elements that help generate and land opportunities. From updating venue profiles/ website pages, creating engaging sales collateral, filling in product and service gaps, improving tools to execute signature events, you’ll be part of the team that keeps us on the leading edge of the industry. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Account Development : Qualify, pitch, and close new business. Build and manage a book of key client accounts to generate repeat and referral business. Event Execution : Coordinate event logistics, manage catering bookings, prepare event-specific materials, and ensure seamless delivery. Sales Improvement : Collaborate on business initiatives like updating sales collateral, updating menus, and improving sales department capabilities. Manage ongoing sales and marketing projects to help the business grow. Reporting & Administration : Track all activities in Salesforce, analyze performance metrics, and provide status updates to the owner. Ensure all administrative duties are completed efficiently. Success in the Role Looks Like: Proven Sales Achievement : You’ve excelled in previous sales roles, with experience managing high-value accounts and using the Challenger Sales model to win business. Event Passion : You understand the importance of high-end catering and have a demonstrated passion for delivering memorable experiences. Top-Notch Communication : You’re a clear and effective communicator, capable of presenting ideas and solutions that resonate with clients. Organizational Mastery : Your ability to prioritize tasks, stay on top of multiple projects, and maintain attention to detail is unmatched. Proactive Relationship Building : You are skilled at building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners to drive business success. Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of relevant sales or event experience (experience in high-end off-premise catering preferred. Please also share any adjacent sales, event, or fine dining experiences as examples of demonstrated capabilities or familiarity with events and food). A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience with demonstrated mastery of complex material. Ability to use Excel, Salesforce, and presentation tools (InDesign, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to travel within the LA area as needed (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required). Compensation & Benefits: On-Target Earnings: $95K-$105K (Base $60K-$75K Commission Bonus Health Stipend). Flexible work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
