Major Duties (Job Description) You will apply a wide range of technical engineering methods, principles, requirements, work techniques, and practices in the area of installation specialization. You will provide Contractor Officer Representative (COR) support through IT systems and services procurement planning, CPARs, and overseeing the Cost, Schedule, Performance in order to meet timelines outlined in IT program acquisition plans. You will ensure IT task deliverables meet performance requirements. You will support multiple complex command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) information technology projects, advise on and/or resolve difficult or without-precedent, factual, procedural, and/or recurring issues. You will communicate with internal and external customers and leadership, technical leaders, and managers to plan, install, monitor, and test and evaluate highly complex C4I information technology systems. You will recommend new or improved installation procedures to overcome difficult situations. Qualification Summary Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Utilize analytical skills, evaluation techniques, and re-engineering methods to assess the technical, financial, and programmatic implications of prospective IT endeavors. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Manage stakeholder requirements from internal/external agencies helping execute and accomplish organizational goals and objectives. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the workforce communicating organizational goals and objectives while aligning with the command's initiatives. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: analysis, reporting, coordinating, and facilitating working groups to meet and resolve project objectives. In addition to your experience your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: oversee command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) IT system installations, ensuring cost, schedule, performance goals AND/OR procurement planning, risk management, technical support, and system testing and integration. Compensation: $72,553-$113,047 per year
