Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Radiology in Missouri

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Radiology Job Duration: 13 months Shift: Day - 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM, 30 hours per week, Three days per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Minimum Board Certification Eligible Certifications: PALS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 30-90 days for credentialing - Patient encounters per shift: 15 - Board Certification is required - The facility is a Level 2 trauma center - Pediatric Level: 0 Job Description: - Perform CT Guided Biopsies of lung, liver, and bone - Conduct CT Guided Abscess Drains and Nephrostomy Tube placement - Perform Paracentesis and Thoracentesis - Must be proficient in Fine Needle Aspiration procedures - Required skills in Radiology procedures including: - Bone Mineral Density Studies - CT General and Neuro - CT Angiography - General and Neuro MRI - Joint and MSK MRI - MRI of the Breast - Experience in the following procedures: - Aspiration/drainage - Biopsies Above and Below diaphragm - Bone, Biliary, and Renal Extractions - Required to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures including Thyroid treatment - Experience with PET Scans is required - Must have skills in special procedures such as Abscess Drainage, Thoracentesis, and Paracentesis - Ability to perform Ultrasound – Advanced Studies/procedures like Endovaginally and Abdominal/Pelvis scanning - Must perform joint/epidural injections and be familiar with vascular and interventional radiology procedures - Professionalism and strong communication skills are essential for patient interaction and collaborating with other healthcare professionals
