Heron Innovators, Inc., manufacturer of the innovative Suspended Air® Flotation (SAF®) water and wastewater treatment solutions, is seeking to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager for a specific geographic territory (TBD) to be based in the United States. Geographic territory may also include a portion of Canada and Central America. The Regional Sales Manager is expected to increase sales in both municipal and industrial sectors, which includes both direct sales to end users and through contracted manufacturers’ representatives. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and will work closely with the Heron process engineering team. This position is home-based, preferably within driving distance of a major airport. Travel will be 50 to 75%. Responsibilities Perform consultative sales and product presentations with end-users through Teams calls and in-person meetings with consulting engineers and end-user clients. Hire, train, and support contract manufacturer’s representatives within territory. Build enthusiasm and trust with the reps to promote Heron SAF solutions through joint sales calls to end users and consulting engineers. Attend and perform technical sales presentations at trade conferences. Prepare and provide timely and comprehensive proposals of Heron treatment solutions. Perform on-site lab testing and work with third party chemical solution providers to qualify and demonstrate SAF effectiveness. Organize and support pilot testing in cooperation with the Heron service team. Maintain client info and project status in the Heron CRM. Generate new opportunities for sales through direct contact with end-users. The ideal candidate will have: At least five years of successful sales experience working in the field in water/wastewater treatment industries. Existing relationships with consulting engineers and potential industrial clients. Strong relationship building, presentation, listening, and communication skills. The ability to work autonomously as a self-starter, strategic thinker, and negotiator. Experience working with water/wastewater chemistry treatment. Strong mechanical aptitude and a thorough working knowledge of process control equipment, separation, and water/wastewater treatment techniques. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking and writing skills will be a plus. Compensation includes base salary plus a generous commission schedule. Benefits include health plan and 401K.
