Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,246 per week

Clinical Skills: Demonstrates competent clinical skills in emergency care. Documentation: Maintains complete and accurate documentation of nursing process. Professionalism: Demonstrates professional practice responsibility. Patient Satisfaction: Responds to patients/families and coworkers positively. Safety: Follows National Patient Safety Goals including Universal Protocol. Unit Specific Job Function: Knowledge of conditions/diagnoses, procedures for surgical patients. Responsibility and Accountability: Prioritizes care of patients based on needs and changes in condition. Patient Education and Chart Completion: Includes patients and family members in teaching. Duties Specific to PAT RN: Supports timely completion of patient testing. Job Requirements 1-year experience in Critical Care/Cardiac or ED. 2 years minimum ED nursing experience. No first-time travel contracts. Experience with ED's comparable to size and volume (140 beds, about 350 patients daily). Comfortable with a 7:1 nursing ratio. Able to handle critical patients (STEMIS, Stroke, Intubations, cardiac medication titrations). Unit Specific Information Duties Specific to PAT RN: Evaluates Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders for appropriateness. Additional Details EPIC documentation experience not required but encouraged.
