Our growing HVAC company is looking for a problem solver with a can-do attitude and a proven record of installation experience in the HVAC field. You are an accomplished HVAC Sheet Metal Journeyman who will troubleshoot, diagnose, and safely install a variety of HVAC equipment. You’ll also be responsible for installing indoor air quality and control systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role, as you’ll be working with industry professionals and customers. You have the technical skills to read and apply blueprints, codes, and manuals to any job, and are comfortable with using HVAC power and hand tools to get the job done. Responsibilities: • Probe tubing joints, pipes, and connections for possible leaks • Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems • Follow all applicable policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures • Communicate with clients on how to properly use and maintain their new equipment • Outline and join electrical wiring according to the diagram using hand tools Qualifications: • Journeyman Certification Required : Must have completed an accredited journeyman program • Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent • Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections • Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2 years as an HVAC installation technician • Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics • Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills Compensation: $30 - $36 hourly • Probe tubing joints, pipes, and connections for possible leaks • Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems • Follow all applicable policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures • Communicate with clients on how to properly use and maintain their new equipment • Outline and join electrical wiring according to the diagram using hand tools
