Major Areas of Responsibility IncludeMaintain high productivity while following all established procedures.Be able to set up and dissemble all molds.Understand and follow the mold shop schedule while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the mold shop.Maintain high morale with employees while meeting or exceeding performance and quality expectations.Specific Responsibilities Operatesmachine tools, including but not limited to: lathes, milling machines and grinding machines Operates power tools, including: die grinders and rotary toolsUses hand tools such as files and honing stonesUtilizes computer aided technologies, (CNC, CAM, and Conversational Programming).Maintains molds used in our Blow Molding operations.Communicates any mold damage and/or maintenance issues to the Mold Shop Manager.Prioritize daily and weekly tasks.Identifies any mold damage and molds requiring repair.Cleans all mold components.Performs other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:Completion of a tool and die apprenticeship program.2-3 years of hands-on experience, preferably in the plastics industryStrong mechanical background preferred.Prior experience working with Aluminum, Berillium, Copper and Stainless Steel is highly desirable.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Commitment to Company values.Self motivated individual who continually strives to improve quality.Physical Demands:The physical demands described below are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
