Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - North America Location: Houston, TX, US Work from an office in your home. The position will require some international travel. The Regional Sales Manager – North America is a direct sales position to: End users in the energy sector, i.e., oil and gas companies – Exxon Mobil, BP, etc. Engineering Contractors (EPCs) and EPCMs. Subsea contractors such as Baker Hughes. The successful applicant has business development skills, experience working with End Users, EPCs and EPCMs, and subsea contractors on major capital works projects, and an in-depth understanding of the project development and procurement process. Experience selling to the upstream flow measurement market is a plus but not required. Critical questions: Do you have capital equipment sales experience in one or more of the target customer categories? Unfortunately, experience selling valves or high-volume products is not relevant experience. Do you have capital equipment sales experience in any of the following markets? Green Energy Carbon Capture Shale Gas These markets are expansion opportunities for our client. Are you successful in long sales cycle situations? These projects can take 12-24 months, sometimes even longer, to fruition. Does your experience include collaborating with various sales, customer care, and operational groups to ensure alignment between pursuit strategy and organizational goals? Do you have experience in South America? This is not required, but we plan to expand into South America. Are you available for face-to-face interviews in the first week of December? Are you available to start work in January 2025? Compensation The base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $135,000. This position is eligible for bonuses, which are paid quarterly. We offer full benefits plus a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k.
