What are we looking for: We seek a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial landscaping and a proven track record of managing accounts in the commercial sector. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively. Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with commercial clients, understanding their unique landscaping needs and providing personalized solutions. Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for commercial clients, overseeing all aspects of their landscaping projects from initiation to completion. Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute landscaping projects, ensuring adherence to client specifications, timelines, and budget constraints. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to assess the quality of workmanship and address any issues or concerns raised by clients. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with commercial clients, ensuring profitability while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional landscaping services or enhancements to existing clients. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, tracking costs and profitability to ensure financial targets are met. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Requirements: Proven experience in commercial landscape account management or a similar role, preferably in the commercial real estate or property management sector. Strong understanding of commercial landscaping practices, including irrigation systems, hardscaping, and sustainable landscaping techniques. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Turfgrass, or related major preferred. Associate degree or relevant experience will also be considered Certification in landscape design, project management, or related field. Experience with commercial property management software (e.g., LMN, Aspire). Knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental requirements.
