We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Operations to oversee and optimize the operations of a diverse portfolio of restaurants and food service outlets in the New England area. This confidential search is for a senior leadership role within an exceptional group of restaurants and food services. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing multi-unit operations, a strong history and expertise in food & beverage operations, and driving results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. KEY RESONSIBILITIES Leadership and Strategic Direction Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operations, enhance guest satisfaction, and improve profitability. Collaborate with executive leadership to create long-term growth strategies and innovative practices. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across all restaurants. Operational Oversight Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards in service, product quality, and guest experiences. Manage front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant execution. Work closely with culinary teams to align menu offerings with brand positioning and guest preferences. Implement operational best practices to ensure consistency and market relevance across all locations. Financial Management Analyze financial performance, including revenue forecasting, product cost management, and labor optimization. Identify and implement cost-saving measures by leveraging the organization's buying power. Review financial reports and KPIs to monitor profitability and identify opportunities for improvement. Team Leadership and Development Lead, mentor, and evaluate restaurant leadership teams to ensure a high-performance culture. Oversee staffing strategies, including recruitment, training, and professional development. Promote a collaborative and results-driven environment focused on operational success. Guest Experience and Quality Control Ensure exceptional guest experiences by continuously evaluating and enhancing service standards. Maintain consistent product quality and presentation in line with brand standards. Collaboration and Marketing Partner with marketing teams to create promotional strategies and drive customer engagement. Collaborate with sales teams to maximize event and catering opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS 15–20 years of senior management experience in multi-unit restaurant or hospitality operations. Strong expertise in food and beverage operations, financial management, and team leadership. Proven ability to drive cost savings, increase sales, and enhance operational efficiency. Familiarity with tools like Toast, OpenTable, Restaurant 365, and payroll systems is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
