Marketing Communications Lead

DTS is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and driven Marketing and Strategic Communications Lead to join our dynamic team. This self-starting individual will play a key role in developing and executing multi-channel marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate market-qualified leads. Working closely with the DTS sales team and executives, the Marketing and Strategic Communications Lead will shape and implement innovative marketing strategies that support our company’s growth. Proficiency in HubSpot and expertise in optimizing marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, SEO, and SEM channels are essential to driving demand and achieving sales targets in this role. Primary Responsibilities Campaign Execution and Collaboration Partner with Sales and Executive teams to design and execute campaigns across digital, social media, email, SEO, and SEM channels. Support product marketing strategies to drive demand and generate leads. Collaborate with Sales and cross department teams on defining product positioning and go-to-market strategies. Performance Monitoring and Optimization Track key performance metrics to assess program effectiveness and optimize for better results. Make data-driven recommendations to refine and improve marketing efforts. Research and Opportunity Development Identify industry trends, events, and opportunities to boost visibility and generate leads. Conduct market research to stay ahead of competitive strategies and emerging trends. Content Creation and Brand Consistency Develop and manage marketing collateral, including presentations, internal and external communication and newsletters, sales materials, and social media content, aligning with brand guidelines. Craft award submissions to gain industry recognition for the company’s achievements. Support webinar content development and client communication initiatives. Event and Trade Show Coordination Identify tradeshow, event, and conference participation with Sales, to generate MQLs. Attend local events to network, represent DTS, and capture photos for marketing purposes, enhancing brand visibility and engagement through event-based content. Position Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field strongly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience, ideally within IT or cybersecurity services. Technical Skills and Proficiencies Strong HubSpot proficiency required. Experience in creating and implementing cold outbound systems, with a focus on metrics such as email deliverability rates, open rates, undeliverable rates, data scraping, contact enrichment, and drip campaigns. Proficient in social media strategy, web-based advertising, brand recognition, webinars, email marketing, and digital tools (CRM systems, SEO strategies). Core Marketing Skills Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies end-to-end. Strong knowledge of email marketing software, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms. Project and Time Management Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Communication and Interpersonal Skills Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable working across all organizational levels. Job Details: Location: Virginia (Hybrid) Compensation: 90K-130K Job type: Full time Mid-Senior level Salary at DTS is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.
