If you thrive in a fast-paced, donor centric culture that focuses on collaboration, gratitude, integrity, transparency and diversity - this is the opportunity you have been looking for What you can expect as our Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer: As a frontline fundraiser, attract new top tier corporate and foundation partners to expand philanthropic support for Perkins’ mission around the world Expand support from our current portfolio of corporate and foundation partners Work collaboratively with department leaders across Perkins to align funding opportunities with organizational priorities Ensure successful stewardship of donors through acknowledgement, regular communication, reporting and recognition Write compelling proposals, grant applications, letters of intent and other fundraising materials to secure support from corporate and/or foundation partners Partner with finance, development operations, and program leaders on grant management and to ensure budgets align with funder guidelines Work in partnership with Prospect Research to think “out of the box” to identify new prospects whose funding priorities align with our mission Stay informed of trends in corporate and foundation giving to identify emerging opportunities We’d love to talk with you if you have many of the following: You are a creative relationship-builder with a proven ability to attract new top-tier corporate and foundation supporters - you know how to open new doors You have the proven ability to develop and maintain long term relationship with corporate and/or foundation partners through regular communication, reporting and recognition You have a track record of successfully cultivating relationships and securing significant gifts and grants from corporations and/or foundations You ensure the highest level of donor care and stewardship You thrive on creating opportunities to engage new donors You are motivated by Perkins mission and want to be a part of a team that is helping to expand our reach and impact on a global basis You are a “storyteller” - you can get our story out and inspire people and organizations to support Perkins Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree 5 years experience in a front line fundraising role in an innovative nonprofit, corporate and/or foundations experience required Proven success in securing significant gifts or grants Experience writing high quality proposals and managing grant processes Proficiency in fundraising databases, ideally, Salesforce
