Certification Details AHA BLS State License 1 Verification AHA ACLS (for cardiovascular specialty) Job Details MUST START BETWEEN NOV 11 - DEC 11 8 Week Assignment No Holiday RTO - Must be willing to work the Holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, & New Years Day Floating Required HYBRID MS/PCU Accepts 1st time travelers Tele Experience Preferred Traveler must live 100 miles from the facility General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. 16 hours of nonbillable orientation. Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if there is a decrease in census. Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty. Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession. The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongsidethe provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
