.NET Full Stack Developer

Position: .NET Full Stack Developer Location: Memphis, TN Visa Constraints : None Job Description We are seeking an experienced, strategic .NET Developer for research, design, and development of new web applications and systems and maintaining existing applications. Duties and Responsibilities: • Design and develop multitier web applications for customers and internal users, including but not limited to .Net, .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Web API, JavaScript frameworks, and jQuery. • Enhance/Migrate and support Desktop and web applications that support City of Memphis business activities. • Works on payment processing systems and develops integration solutions using web services, API • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards. • Works closely with the Applications Team to understand the business and functional requirements of City Applications / Website Projects. • Works with City liaisons to maintain and enhance their applications. • Create technical design documents using SDLC standards. • Develop Microsoft SQL 2019 database and .NET middle-tier objects. • Develop user interface utilizing the latest .NET technologies. • Monitor and optimize systems to ensure best performance. • Perform unit testing using tools like MS Test, NUnit. • Document code appropriately for maintainability. • Communicate with product owners and business analysts to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications. • Translate requirements and use cases into technical designs and functional code. • Collaborate with different teams and team members on projects. • Act as a mentor to other developers with programming issues. • Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. • 3 years C#, web development experience. • Understanding of object-oriented design, web application architecture, relational database design, and SDLC. • Proficient in ASP.NET, MVC, C#, Web API, Webservices and JavaScript, and jQuery with solid understanding of their ecosystem. • Experience using T-SQL with an ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures. • Client-side scripting experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as JSON, Angular. • Expert understanding of cross-browser compatible web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap, with proven knowledge of web (responsive and mobile) best practices • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019/2022 (MVS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 2019. • Proficient understanding and experience of using code versioning tools like GitHub. • Experience in the development and deployment of secure web applications. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Willing to learn and implement new technology solutions. PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE - In addition to those skills and experience listed above, knowledge/experience of the following is a plus: • Experience in mobile responsive website development • Working Experience and understanding of using payment gateway processing systems
