The candidate will assist with external audits by preparing documentation, organizing files, and supporting audit sessions, including proctoring external visitors. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel for data entry and basic formulas and have three years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit-related roles. (Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Hybrid) W2 Employment, Retirement Savings Program, PSL 16-24 hours/week, 4 Month Assignment Audit Associate Responsibilities: Proctor audits, ensuring a smooth process and assisting visitors as needed. Help assemble necessary documentation (e.g., binders, reports, and other materials) for audits. Assist with organizing and managing files to ensure accessibility during audits. Make copies and prepare materials as required for audit sessions. Input data into Excel spreadsheets. Use basic Excel formulas to process and organize data effectively. Ensure data accuracy and consistency. Perform general office tasks such as organizing files, making copies, and other administrative duties related to the audit process. Work closely with the project lead and reporting manager to ensure timely and accurate completion of audit preparation tasks. Audit Associate Qualifications: 0-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit-related roles. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Proficiency in Excel, including basic data entry and use of formulas. Strong organizational skills to assist with audit preparation and documentation. Ability to manage and organize files and materials in preparation for external audits. Ability to work effectively with external auditors and internal team members during the audit process. Strong attention to detail, especially when handling and organizing data and documentation.
