Commercial Carpenter/ Tradesmen

COMMERCIAL CARPENTER/ TRADESMEN Our team is looking for an experienced Carpenter/Tradesmen to join our team on scheduled remodels and service throughout California. Travel is mandatory and the hours are good. We service restaurants and retail locations with refinishing, rebuilding, and remodels of current locations. We have multiple openings and are looking for individuals hungry to learn or build themselves up within our system. We have a lot of repetitive work and opportunity to grow into a leadership position. The ideal candidates will have experience with woodworking, staining, cabinetry, countertops, general repairs and/or painting. Other highly sought carpentry skills include doors, framing, and general repair. Responsibilities Ability to work unsupervised on a variety of job tasks from simple to complex and coordinate multiple projects. Ability to perform strenuous physical work utilizing mechanical aptitude and motor coordination. Ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the position; must be able to follow simple written and oral instructions. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team; consult and work with other trades workers; and develop and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to analyze situations, procedures and work methods, and exercise appropriate judgment in resolving problems and establishing priorities and work methods. Ability to be flexible and respond to changes in demands for service and priorities. Ability to analyze and respond appropriately to emergency situations and to recognize, secure and report unsafe conditions immediately. Knowledge of safe working techniques and safety equipment and must be aware of the typical hazards of the workplace as well as the special hazards that may be encountered (biohazards, chemicals, asbestos/lead containing materials). Ability to understand and apply company policies and procedures. Carpenter - Acoustic Ceilings and Tile replacements. Carpenter - Framing, and Doors. Finish Carpenter - Repair Fixtures, and Millwork. Finish Carpenter- Stains and clear coating. Finish Carpenter- Installation of trim, fixtures. Finish Carpenter - Install FRP or Wall coatings. Finish Carpenter – Countertop installation, fabrication, and repairs. Handyman - Stucco or Masonry Repair. Handyman - Basic Maintenance services (HVAC, Pressure Washing). Painting - Paint, Cut-in and color matching for repairs or remodels. Requirements Must have reliable transportation, and ability to travel. 3-4 years’ experience in carpentry.
