Focus: Install, terminate, and maintain fiber optic cabling in various environments, ensuring adherence to industry standards. Diagnose and resolve issues related to fiber optics, employing advanced troubleshooting techniques and utilizing optical testing equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient network performance and address any challenges in a timely manner. Conduct inspections and tests on fiber optics to verify integrity and optimize system performance. Maintain accurate records of fiber optic installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Skill Set: Proven expertise in fiber optics and cabling, with a strong foundation in installation and maintenance practices. Proficiency in troubleshooting fiber optic systems, with a solid understanding of optical technologies. Previous hands-on experience with fiber optic cables, connectors, and associated equipment. Certification in fiber optics or a related technical field is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Technical certification in fiber optics or a related field preferred Experience with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and network capacity enhancement projects highly preferred.
