The Project Manager, Data Center oversees the full lifecycle of data center construction projects, ensuring the successful delivery of electrical, cooling, power distribution, IT infrastructure, and security systems. Key responsibilities include managing project operations, financials, and schedules while serving as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors. This role also involves mitigating risks, negotiating change orders, and maintaining compliance with safety and contractual standards. Strong leadership skills are required to manage high-performance teams and ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective project completion. Duties/Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and manage project operations, covering labor, material procurement, cost control, and client relationships, while ensuring seamless execution. Serve as the primary contact for general contractors, owners, and end users, ensuring critical system reliability and uptime throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee financials, including budgets, purchase orders, subcontracts, invoices, and billings, while ensuring timely updates and accurate reporting. Facilitate change order pricing, manage documentation, and ensure alignment with project and data center-specific requirements. Review and process RFIs, identifying risks and implementing recovery action plans when necessary. Coordinate schedules with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient workflows. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, company procedures, and contractual obligations. Attend project meetings to track progress, manage risks, and communicate updates. Support design/build projects in collaboration with the design team, ensuring proper execution. Develop and manage high-performance teams, providing mentorship and fostering professional growth. Required Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software, financial tracking, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and Bluebeam. Expertise in managing multi-million-dollar data center projects, including electrical systems, cooling, power distribution, and IT infrastructure. Experience with estimating, cost management (labor, materials, and subcontracting), procurement, and scheduling. Understanding of electrical power, lighting design, and material handling in a warehouse environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively under time constraints. Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player. Experience working professionally with staff, management, vendors, and clients at all levels. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction support operations, with solid knowledge of construction equipment and materials.
