Provides work flow direction and management that is consistent with achieving department and organizational objectives. Other duties include achieving coordination, consistency, and integration in the operation of the clinic site, assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, assisting in strategic planning and budgeting, and leading and/or participating in improvement projects/teams. Manage day to day operations of operating a primary care clinic in the following ways: Leadership of clinic staff Actively supports the recruitment, orientation, and promotes the engagement of all clinic staff Accountable for initial and ongoing competencies for staff Ensures effective and timely communication of relevant information as appropriate Provides guidance to ensure performance management aspects such as mentoring, coaching, individual development etc. are in place and holds staff accountable to expectations Fosters an environment in which the team holds each other accountable to MHealth Fairview commitments Works collaboratively with leadership and other organizational partners to ensure efficient and safe day to day operations of the site(s) Anticipates and responds to physician/provider staffing needs and assures that support staff are appropriately scheduled to maximize efficiency, access and patient demand Performs appropriate due diligence to resolve patient and staff concerns Collaborates with leadership to help collect data through use of reporting in order to analyze, forecast, plan and direct clinic operations Promotes, supports and participates in process improvement, quality initiatives, and innovation Practices as a financial steward; provides input as appropriate related to clinic budget Sustain and mentor front line staff around quality and continuous improvement within service line. Facilitate a site based approach to continuous improvement that links with service line strategy. Supports a daily process for collecting, monitoring quality and continuous improvement exists for assigned area. Teach and mentor any tools cascaded by the system, such as the Daily Engagement System to achieve this. Implementation of any needed plans for course correction of negative conditions that have been determined by collection of quality data on assigned area. Communicates quality data and to seeks out opportunities to improve patient care and ensures understanding of the data and its importance. Helps create a culture of quality and continuous improvement through mentoring front line staff. Develops and maintains a healthy, supportive work environment, demonstrating behaviors consistent with MHealth Fairview commitments Exemplifies excellent customer relations in interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and employees. Continuously builds customer understanding by listening to customers. Anticipates customer needs, including those with different cultural needs and desires. Build credibility with medical staff as a champion for patient care and quality Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Nursing 1-2 years of demonstrated leadership experience Minnesota RN license Preferred Additional education in healthcare, business or related field 3-5 years of previous supervisory/management experience Other Skills We Desire: Excellent customer service, public relations and communication skills Ability to prioritize and work with a fluctuation in workload while working independently Ability to adapt to change and engage in ongoing process improvement Flexibility to work at other sites is encouraged We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
