Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Job Type Full-time Description Responsible for installing, adjusting, wiring, and repairing equipment in compliance with the current NEC and local code requirements. All work must meet or exceed the current NEC standards. • Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, terminating motors and devices (sensors, controls, VFD's, etc.) • Working knowledge/understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, distribution control, fluidic, and electrical systems/components and operation • Perform necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts: assemble, install, adjustments, and evaluate • Execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment • Maintain detailed records of work performed, details of repairs, and material usage via CMMS • Perform equipment overhauling, including rebuilding and fabrication as needed Requirements Preferred Skills: • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems. • Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic blueprints, schematics, and engineering documents. • Manual dexterity, frequently squat, bend, climb and ability to lift 50 lbs. Education and Preferred Qualifications: • Mechanical and fabrication/welding experience is a plus • Dependable initiative-taker • Experience in a food plant, with knowledge of GMP's and SQF requirements is a plus • High speed packaging equipment experience a plus Shaw's Southern Belle Frozen Foods, Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace Salary Description $28-$30
