Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists State Licensure - South Carolina Job Details Radiology / Cardiology position available at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. Looking for an MRI Tech with experience in pediatric scanning and capable of handling inpatient/outpatient MRI for adults and pediatrics including neonates, stroke, and trauma patients. Must be an ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist. Job Requirements ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist is mandatory. Previous experience in a Children's Hospital or strong pediatric skills highly preferred. BLS - Basic Life Support certification needed before starting the assignment. ARRT(R) certification required through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Schedule Information MRI Tech required for a 13-week contract. Shifts spanning Friday to Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7 AM. Two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) must be worked as per facility policy. No call is required. Unit Specific Information The role is almost exclusively focused on pediatric scanning. MRI tech will work with GE and Siemens equipment, 1.5T, and 3T magnetics. Additional Details No time off requests will be entertained from December 26 to December 31 to meet staffing needs during the holiday season. Travelers are expected to arrange their own circulation within the city.
