PUBLIC SECTOR SALES EXPERIENCE NEEDED The Account Executive is a key role in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business with existing customers and acquiring new customers across a focused Named Account List. They will work closely with our Sales Leadership, Internal Support, and Training and Development Teams to position GTS-TS’s Innovative Solutions and World Class Support to their Target Customer List. This is an outside sales position that requires a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working with limited direction and oversight. As an Account Executive, you will spend 50% or more of your time outside of an office interfacing and building relationships with existing and potential GTS-TS customers, identifying new opportunities, networking, and following up on potential leads. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in enterprise sales, with a deep understanding of the company’s products or services and the ability to articulate their value proposition effectively. They should be a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, capable of navigating complex sales cycles and negotiating mutually beneficial agreements with clients. Travel is dependent upon territory but could be as much as 50% or more. Supervisory Responsibilities: · None Duties/Responsibilities: · Developing business with existing customers and establishing new customers using targeted sales techniques such as cold calling, customer meetings, partner and industry networking. · Identifying, creating, developing, and managing opportunities in the sales pipeline and sales management platform to achieve sales targets and goals. · Understanding customer’s business objectives, IT priorities, and initiatives. · Positioning GTS’s portfolio of products, solutions, services, and capabilities. · Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with current and new customers and partner contacts. · Collaborating with pre and post-sales internal support teams. · Excelling in a team selling environment. · Continuing education on industry trends, products, and market conditions. · Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products, solutions, and services to new and existing customers. · Traveling within the assigned sales territory to meet existing and potential customers and attend company events. · Develop a business strategy to acquire new customers and expand GTS portfolio with existing customers. · Identify new opportunities within GTS’s core competencies and move them through the sales cycle to close through customer interaction and awareness of market conditions and pricing. · Develop innovative proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations. · Understand GTS’s contracts and pricing structure. · Promote GTS’s solutions through tradeshows, conventions, GTS events, and customer events. · Visit new and potential customers to develop relationships with customer decision- makers. · Achieve sales and margin goals as modified periodically. · Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; work to resolve issues that may arise during and post the sales process. · Customer accounts are assigned by management and subject to periodic review and reassignment. · Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: · Advanced degrees and technical certifications: Possession of advanced degrees and technical certifications that demonstrate expertise in the field. · Experience selling complex IT solutions: Experience in selling complex IT solutions to clients. · Working knowledge of programs from industry-leading OEMs: Familiarity with programs from industry-leading OEMs such as Microsoft, Dell, VMware, HP, Cisco, Apple, AWS, Google and Lenovo. · Established and Positive Relationships: Positive business relationships with potential prospect customers. Education and Experience: · Bachelor's degree in marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR · At least three years of related experience required. Physical Requirements: · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. · Prolonged periods of sitting and driving or traveling on a plane · Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. · Must be able to travel.
