Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support NIH Stroke Certification Job Details 3x12's or 4x12's, Nights, 7p-7a EOW/EOH Can be placed on-call 1,12 hr shift per pay period in the event census drops No Flu exemptions/declinations accepted including adverse reactions notes and religious exemptions. All units may handle COVID patients Epic exp. is required Must have Telemetry exp. travel experience preferred Care includes diabetes, stroke, kidney failure, respiratory distress, sepsis, liver disease, low risk cardiac, CHF, syncope, post cardiac Cath (low risk), post pacemaker (low risk), pneumonia, COPD, viral respiratory illnesses and other medical issues. Our care team is composed of RN’s, LPN, nursing assistants, respiratory therapist, physical therapist, and many providers to meet the complex needs of our patients. Our nursing team frequently manages IV’s and access devices, NG tubes, various drains, urinary catheters, and wound vacs. 5TH Floor:5 Main is a 15-bed medical surgical/cardiopulmonary unit. Unit focuses on adult patients with variety of medical, surgical, and cardiopulmonary issues. Nurse to patient ratio’s are 1:5/6 and nursing assistant ratio’s are 1:8/10 Job Requirements Must include RTO in submittal in order to be honored at time of offer Traveler is expected to float to like acuities or less if needed Unit Specific Information 5 Main is a 15-bed medical surgical/cardiopulmonary unit.
