Certification Details BLS. Job Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in Med Surg in a Hospital Setting. Preferred: 2yrs experience med surg, orthopedics, Bariatrics. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Orthopedic Surgery (Knees, hips, Shoulder, Cervical), bariatrics. Best personality Fit: Work collaboratively with team members, patient focus. Schedule Information Day Shift – Charge RN, RNs, LNAs, unit Coordinator (Monday- Friday). Night Shift – Charge RN, RNs, 2-3 LNAs. Patient Ratios – 5-6:1. 4 weekend shift per 4 week schedule. Unit Specific Information Float to Medical Oncology as needed. Wear scrubs with no specific color requirement. Additional Details Unit Information: 3rd Surgical. Number of Beds – 27. Number of Staff – 5-6 RNs / 2-3 LNAs. Type of staff: Day Shift – Charge RN, RNs, LNAs, unit Coordinator (Monday- Friday), Night Shift – Charge RN, RNs, 2-3 LNAs. Type of equipment - Hoyer, CPM. EMR – Code Cart.
