The (Sr.) Director, E-commerce position is a full-time remote role offering a competitive salary of $180K to $220K as well as a comprehensive performance based bonus package based on experience and geographic location. (Title may be Senior level based on experience) In this role you'll spearhead our eCommerce strategy, with a focus on accelerating revenue growth, optimizing the end-to-end customer journey, and enhancing conversion across all digital touchpoints. This role demands a visionary leader with experience in the tech industry who can seamlessly integrate technical expertise, user experience optimization, data-driven analytics, and growth strategies to deliver superior results. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the overarching eCommerce strategy, setting a clear vision that aligns with business objectives and drives significant new acquisition growth Lead initiatives to refine the digital customer experience, including website performance, chat engagement, lead generation, checkout flows, and the customer portal, ensuring a seamless and frictionless journey Design and implement strategies to capitalize on cross-sell and upsell opportunities, maximizing the lifetime value of existing customers while driving higher customer satisfaction Leverage advanced analytics, web tracking tools, and testing frameworks to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously optimize the eCommerce funnel Champion experimentation and lead conversion rate optimization initiatives to streamline the purchase process, reduce cart abandonment, and improve overall user engagement metrics Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Performance Marketing and Sales teams to drive alignment and execution of key eCommerce initiatives Drive customer lifecycle strategy by developing and executing email nurture programs that engage, retain and grow our customer base across a family of brands Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and development opportunities to high-performing eCommerce and Creative teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation Be responsible for the employee life cycle including; disciplinary actions, performance reviews, goal reaching activities, fostering a positive environment, following company policies, etc. Occasional travel Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field 10 years of progressive eCommerce and CRO experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity Proven success in leading eCommerce operations with a track record of driving substantial growth and innovation Expertise in advanced web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and Heatmap (eg. Full Story) with proficiency in testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, CRO best practices, and web development frameworks Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (eg HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce) Experience managing eCommerce platforms and optimizing digital customer experiences Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to translate business objectives into effective digital strategies.
