Job Title: Junior Planner/Allocator Location: 3001 W. Mission Road, Alhambra, CA 91803, On-Site Company: Trina Turk, L2T Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated Junior Planner/Allocator to support our planning and allocation team in managing inventory and optimizing product distribution across our channels. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in merchandise planning and allocation within the fashion industry. This position is on-site. Key Responsibilities: Allocations Own all DTC inventory movements including replenishment, initials, RTVs, and transfers through Full Circle ERP. Weekly/Daily allocation of product to 5 retail locations based on sales forecasts and historical data. Complete monthly initial allocations based on APS, store index, minimum presentation and WOF. Monitor stock levels and performance for Women’s, Men’s, Swimwear, Accessories, Handbags and Home. Participate in weekly store calls to discuss inventory needs, upcoming events and allocation strategies. Facilitate monthly RTVs of aged merchandise from store locations to ECom warehouse. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Buying, ECom, Retail and warehouse operations. Develops working relationship with the distribution team to ensure continuous flow of product to stores. Work with the ECom team, fulfilling out of stock items from store locations by size. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through inventory adjustments in Full Circle. Track incoming POs with Production team and inform Buying/Planning/ECom of delivery status. Planning Manage stock requests from wholesale based on DTC sell through, weeks of supply, and current stock. Recap store performance by collection to help determine buy tiering and new assortment. Identify size break opportunities to increase or decrease based on sell though and excess weeks of supply. Create reports in BI tool Qlik Sense to analyze sales trend and to support decision-making processes. Assist in the development of seasonal merchandise plans in collaboration with senior planner & buyer. Ad hoc analysis to identify category opportunities and risks, including recommendations by category. Recap performance on monthly key promotional sales and liquidation events as needed. Support planning with OTB reporting including accurate sales, stock, margin, inventory turn and receipts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with planning software is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Passion for fashion and a desire to learn about the apparel industry.
