Principal Software Engineer

BigTime Software is looking to add a dynamic Principal Software Engineer to our development team in support of our Projector PSA product line. The individual in this role will collaborate extensively to design, build, and test functionality in our award-winning, cloud based system. The ideal candidate will be passionate about development and able to solve difficult technical problems in a fast-paced, agile environment. Who is BigTime? Who You Are: 10 years of professional experience working with a .NET tech stack Has a solid understanding of the .NET framework, C# programming language, and ASP.NET MVC framework Expertise with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery Deep understanding of database design and development using SQL Server or other database systems Able to lead projects and mentor junior developers Has experience with performance optimization, scalability, and security Has a strong understanding of software design patterns and principles Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including non-technical stakeholders Has experience with designing and implementing complex architectures for enterprise-level applications Able to lead projects, team of developers, and mentor junior developers Has an expert-level understanding of the .NET framework, C# programming language, and ASP.NET MVC framework Has expert level experience with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, and other front-end frameworks.
